Programme Entry 2018

Postgraduate PME

The Postgraduate Applications Centre, (PAC) was founded in 1998 to accept applications for admission to postgraduate programmes in the four constituent universities of the National University of Ireland. The purpose of the Centre is to accept and process applications centrally for the Professional Master of Education (NUI) (formerly PDE) in these universities. PAC manages this process.

The 1st round offers for NUI PME 2018 are issued on the 4rd April 2018 after 11.00am. At that stage, please log into your PAC account to check your application status.

Supply of Teachers in Priority Subjects 2018 programme (STIPS2018)

With a view to increasing the supply of teachers in subjects of national priority, and as part of a campaign to be undertaken at national level to encourage graduates in these subjects to consider teaching as a career, PAC has extended to 12 noon on Friday 13 April 2018 the closing date for applications to the PME from graduates in these priority subjects.

The priority subjects are: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Irish, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

If you are qualified in one of these subjects and have already applied to PAC, it is not necessary for you to apply again to be considered under STIPS2018.

Applications are now closed for 2018 PME entry. Please contact PAC PME should you have any queries regarding your 2018 application, otherwise applications for 2019 PME entry will be opening September 2019.
